For what activity
would you want professional lessons?
would you want professional lessons?
My list of things I'd LOVE to do better is very long. There is a season for everything. One day I'd love to know more about LOTS of things -- for now I practice knowing very little about my job.:) As has been proven in my earlier post.
Golf lessons would be my first priority. I promised Philip I'd play with him this summer. I need to learn HOW before I play. He just told me he's a pro, so I guess I'm safe there.:)
I've always felt like I need to take self-defense courses. Hopefully I don't put that one off too long!
Music, Music, Music -- this is my passion. I would LOVE to learn to play the piano better, the cello and to have professional voice lessons. I'd be in heaven if I could do all three of those things well.
Our trip to Mexico made me realize how much I like speaking Spanish ( the tiny bit I know) I'd love to learn more -- and be able to use it fluently.

If you do all that you with a willing heart you'll never have a dull or boring moment.
Good Luck. However, don't forget to stop and smell the roses along the way.
Grandpa Bart
I LOVE your Tuesday tell-alls! They are great! Personally, I would like to take bowling lessons. I have never scored above 80. Pathetic, I know.
Singing lessons is also on my list.
Keep 'em comin'!
p.s. Your Grandpa (I assume "Grandpa Bart" is your Grandpa) has a great point. I loved Pres. Monson's talk this month about living in the moment. I am one that is always wishing for this and that, wishing for change to come in the future. I loved his wise counsel to enjoy the present!
Agreed! Thus the subtitle on my blog -- but those things sure do sound like fun things to learn someday!:)
If I had time I would love to take serious guitar lessons, singing lessons and of course photography lessons..........Jaime Bowling? I never knew! Call us and I'll tell you the name of Jake's bowling ball he got at the DI for fifty cents!!!
My comment is that if you want those things to happen, start to tackle at least one of them now. It is about the living in the now thing as well as the fact that we get more tired as we age and less ambitious (or at least that has been my experience). I'm sure I got lots more done when you kids were younger!
